Like I said, paragonsconstant.com didn't work out like I thought it would and this forum is just... lackluster. So I'm getting a license and planning to throw a nice one together, myself. I'm getting the hang of photoshop and making some stuff that I'm satisfied with so... we'll see! I think having a snazzier forum will drag more folks in. More here... That forum is pretty much dead, too. Here's to getting everyone under one roof!

Well, it's time guys. I've always said it's gonna pop up and now it is. I've got a major work due in 4 days time (ouch) and my HSC Trials (worth a fair bit of marks) are upcoming in 2 weeks. Then after that, it's roughly 2 months until my HSC, which is the major exam thing down under. vista vs xp (networking)

So I've been trying for weeks networking my Vista laptop with my XP desktop. Nothing worked. I rebooted and rebooted and rebooted after change after change after change... and then I saw a lonely unreplied-to post at C-Net.

All it took was putting a password on my freaken user account on the Vista machine. That's all.

You think they'd mention that it disables file sharing if your damned account isn't password protected.
